Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls
- 2lbs lean ground beef, turkey or chicken
- 1 large onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 small cabbage, chopped
- 14.5 oz crushed, canned tomatoes (no sugar added)
- 8oz canned tomato sauce (no sugar added)
- ½ c. water
- 1 t. sea salt
In large skillet, brown meat and onion until cooked. Add garlic and continue cooking for one minute. Add chopped cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, salt & pepper. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until cabbage is tender. This can also be put into a crock pot as well.
