Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls

  • 2lbs lean ground beef, turkey or chicken
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 small cabbage, chopped
  • 14.5 oz crushed, canned tomatoes (no sugar added)
  • 8oz canned tomato sauce (no sugar added)
  • ½ c. water
  • 1 t. sea salt

In large skillet, brown meat and onion until cooked. Add garlic and continue cooking for one minute. Add chopped cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, salt & pepper. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until cabbage is tender. This can also be put into a crock pot as well.
